Elaine Morgillo is the founder and president of Flying Point Financial, Inc. She has been a Certified Financial Planner (CFP)® practitioner since 1988.

Elaine holds a B.A. in psychology from Albertus Magnus College; she completed post-graduate courses in accounting and finance at Georgia State University and financial planning courses at Bentley College (now Bentley University). Her practice specialty is long range planning for individuals and closely held businesses throughout the United States. Long before the field of behavioral finance became a recognized practice specialty she incorporated her background in psychology and finance into her advisory practice by helping her clients understand the influences of emotional, cultural and psychological factors on their financial decisions.

She has conducted numerous workshops on retirement planning, estate planning, investments, and the financial realities of divorce. She has been a guest speaker for the Massachusetts Dental Society, Seacoast Women’s Week and the Merrimack Valley Divorce Council. Her articles have been published in newspapers and nationally circulated newsletters. She has been interviewed by Smartmoney.com, Worth Magazine, Physician’s Money Digest, The Boston Business Journal and The Boston Globe, among others. She has been a guest on Boston-area financial radio programs, and for more than ten years she was the author of “Financially Thinking,” a weekly financial column for Seacoast Media Group.

Elaine is a member and past president of the Merrimack Valley Estate Planning Council. She is a member and former board member of the Greater York Chamber of Commerce, a trustee and investment committee chair of the Old York Historical Society and a Corporator of Kennebunk Savings Bank.
